Volkswagen Group of America would be the official importer and distributor of Bugatti and Rimac hypercars in the USA.
As a part of the settlement that was signed in the course of the Monterey Automotive Week, VW plans to arrange a vendor community throughout the US devoted to promoting high-end fashions from Bugatti and Rimac.

In 2021, Bugatti, Rimac and Porsche arrange a brand new joint-venture firm, Bugatti Rimac, and appointed Mate Rimac, founder and CEO of Rimac Automobili, as its CEO. The latter makes a speciality of electrical powertrains and has developed the Nevera – a pure-electric hypercar.
The Rimac has a 24% stake within the JV, whereas Porsche controls 45% of the corporate.
